Arkansas Recent Arrests is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody or release, provide or remove a booking photo, post bond, or pull an official record. Only the agency that holds a person or record can answer those questions or take action on the file.
Where Arkansas Records Are Held
Arkansas does not have one county-jail records desk for the whole state. The receiving jail or sheriff holds the local booking record, while the arresting agency may have an incident report. Start with the county where the person was booked, then use the record type to choose the next office:
- For a county arrest or booking, choose the county in the County Directory. Its local site points to the official roster and record request path.
- For the booking record or photo request process, start with the statewide recent-arrests and records overview.
- For an ASP arrest or incident report, use the Arkansas State Police page and the FOIA address below.
- For current custody or release alerts, use the Arkansas VINE and VINELink instructions.
- For sentenced state-prison custody, use the Arkansas DOC’s inmate population search. It is not a county jail roster.
- For a federal inmate, use the BOP locator; for immigration detention, use the ICE detainee locator. BOP does not provide a public booking-photo field.
Arkansas State Police FOIA: Send records requests to asp.foi@asp.arkansas.gov. The agency directory lists ASP Headquarters at One State Police Plaza Drive, Little Rock, and the general number 501-618-8000. The listed phone is the general contact, not a separate arrest-records line.
Arkansas VINE: The official materials list 1-800-510-0415 for the VINE service, 1-800-865-4314 for support, and 1-866-847-1298 for TTY. These numbers provide custody-notification access; the county jail remains the direct source for a fresh booking record.
For county booking questions, the directory is the statewide routing point because each county has its own custodian. A city name, arrest location, receiving jail, court, and current custody location may not be the same place.
